What is Walk it Well?
Walk it Well is a radio show designed to encourage, equip, and empower you as you follow Christ down the path of discipleship. Our goal is to search the scriptures, asking God how to apply His truth to our lives so that we can walk the path that God has for us well.
But, the path of discipleship is not always easy. With every step we take on our journey we encounter opportunities for growth. Along with joy, love, and easy times, we'll come face to face with trouble, challenges, loss, heartache and the like. No matter what season of life we are currently facing our hearts desire is to "Walk it Well!" by:
- Keeping our eyes on Christ
- Seeking God's direction and His best for us
- Reflecting His love to others
- Depending on His power with each step we take
- Trusting Him to see us through
We can walk in victory. We can be people of integrity. We can bring glory to Him with our lives. Walking it Well is a lifelong process. It is also a daily choice to surrender, to die to ourselves, and to choose character over comfort. We want to come along side, share our own journey, and encourage you to "Walk it Well."
May you live a life that reflects His character. May you walk with confidence. May you embrace your purpose and may you live to bring Him glory.
Meet the Hosts of Walk it Well!
Your host: CJ Rapp
At the tender age of 13, CJ learned that although sticks and stones can hurt you, unkind words can alter the course of your life. Already suffering from low self-esteem because of the endless teasing of schoolmates, the most hurtful blow came when, in jest, a family member said her sister "got the brains and the beauty in the family." Those words crushed her heart, poisoned her thoughts and eventually and most of all unconditional love... and in the process altered the course of her life. She embarked on a search for acceptance, significance walked away from God and the calling she knew was on her life.
She refers to those years now as "the time she spent circling the drain." Although she let go of God's hand, He never let go of hers continuing his passionate pursuit of her. When she finally came to end of herself and cried out to God and in the process found what she had been searching for.
Looking back on those wayward years, she says without hesitation that she would not change a thing because it is this journey that God has used to fuel her passion for women's ministry and her love for scripture. Her willingness to share her mistakes and failures allows her the unique ability to connect heart-to-heart with women on multiple levels.
CJ is the President and C.E.O. of Unfading Beauty Ministries, Inc. A non-profit ministry whose mission is to encourage, equip, and empower women to be all they can be in Christ. She is a passionate Bible teacher, inspirational speaker, and author but her most important job is wife to John and mom to Dillon and Austin.
